CEO

Bec has a wide range of industry experience from retail cosmetic makeup, to professional freelance artist for television, photography and fashion. She also specialises in Airbrushing and Special Effects Makeup.

 

 

Sharon Nicholson
Training Manager

Sharon's background in make up, hair, choreography and event management enables her to co-ordinate, plan and prepare the academy curriculum and classes. She actively oversees the trainers and students and still freelances for photographic shoots and weddings.

 


Marie Danzuso
Student Liason Officer

Since Marie completed a Diploma of Makeup she has  specialised in Wedding makeup & hair styling and  oversees the wedding agency artists. Marie also freelanced for Channel 10 News and continues to work in photographic fashion and wedding industry.


 

Corrie Emery
Training Coordinator

Mould maker specialist with credits on Star Wars Episode III "Revenge of the Sith", Farscape TV Series Season 4 & Ghost Rider. Corrie works closely with the Diploma and Advanced Diploma Students with their casting and moulding techniques as well as freelancing in the Film and TV Industries.

 

 


Kat-Arena Lean

Training Coordinator

Kat has been a pro makeup artist in Bridal, Fashion and
Photographic Hair & Makeup for many years. She is obsessed with makeup and has a background in arts & business. Kat has a strong desire to past her passion onto students in the classroom environment.

 

 

 

 

 

Eileen Coombe
Assistant Coordinator

Eileen has been in the Hair and Makeup Industry for over nine years working primarily in the Film and Television industry. Over that period she has worked on numerous Feature Films, many award winning Short Films/ Web series, Television shows most recently including “Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures” and “Danger 5, series 2”, Live Television, Commercials, Photographic, Fashion events, Retail and Weddings/Formals. 

Along with her extensive Makeup experience she is also a fully qualified Hair Dresser. Eileen is now applying her passion and knowledge to Media Makeup students and continues to work as a Freelance Hair and Makeup Artist.

 Leigh Madden

Industry Specialist

Leigh has over 20 years experience creating special makeup effects. From working on short film productions plus feature film and TV. Leigh has many cross over skills relating to the industry such as Prosthetics, Animatronics, Prop making, Mould making and specialised makeup effect techniques. Most recent productions include the Wolf Creek TV series, BOAR feature film, The Pack Feature film and Wastelander Panda: Exile TV series.

 

 


Kristina Persichini-Graziano

Industry Specialist

Kristina has over 10 years experience working as a makeup artist and hair stylist in various facets of the industry.  Beginning her career working in retail cosmetics as Product Specialist for MAC, Kristina has since worked on various TV and film productions including Danger 5 Series 1 & Series 2, Rabbit and Boy in the Trees.

Kristina has travelled overseas and interstate to work on prestigious fashion events including Wella Trend Vision, Australian Bridal Fashion Week and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. She has also had her work published in magazines including Culture, Teo, Fault, Linger and Facon. Kristina hopes to share her experiences with future industry artists to assist in their development and success in their chosen path.

Dina Giaccio

Industry Specialist

From bridal, fashion to fantasy, Dina Giaccio has beencreating makeup designs for over 25 years. Dina's love for makeup in theatre is evident with her 7 years as one of the senior makeup artists for the South Australian Opera, and has worked with the State Theatre Company working on musical's including “Jersey’s Boys”, “Jesus Christ Super Star” and The Australian Ballet, “Romeo and Juliet” creating the special effects.

Dina has also been runner up for The Australian Bridal Industry Awards in 2010 and 2011.
