Media Make up Academy and Agency was established in 1998 by its director, Tammy Mallyon. Tammy’s experience ranges from retail cosmetic make up, to professional Freelance Artist for television, photography and fashion work and still continues to train at the Academy.

The international focus of the Academy is what sets it apart from other nationally accredited courses. Tammy has established a mutually beneficial affiliation with the Make up Designory in the United States. Make up Designory is a leading Make up School situated in the film and celebrity city of Los Angeles and New York.

These affiliations offer Media Make up students the opportunity to undertake further training world wide.

Other resources include up-to-date information on new technology in both make up and special effects, rules and regulations of the makeup industry, and contacts for further work experience.

Media Make up Academy and Agency is constantly updating both the knowledge and skills of its trainers. Tammy Mallyon travels frequently to major cities throughout Asia, Europe and the USA where she attends conferences and trade shows, and meets with international industry leaders to keep in touch with make up styles, fashion and new technology. The conferences help to maintain the schools curriculum as current as possible, and shows the students that Australia can be on par with international make up artists.

Utilising these proven methods of training combined with work experience, Media Make up Academy and Agency is fast becoming Australia’s most successful make up school.
