Course Code: CUE 60103This course is designed for participants who wish to gain practical skills required to work as a Media and Special Effects Make up Artist/Technician to provide, co-ordinate, manage and supervise services for:
- Theatre Live
- Catwalk
- Fashion/Editorial Photography
- Feature Films
- Television Productions
- Television News readers & Show Hosts
- Events
- Music Clips
- T.V. Commercials
- Digital & Film Media
This course is conducted full time over a period of 71 weeks.
January intake
Mon to Thurs (9.00am - 1.00pm)
March intake
Mon to Thurs (1.00pm - 5.00pm)
Class times may vary to suit workshop requirements. During the course programme you are required to be available for work experience which may include weekend and/or evening work.

SFX Workshop
with Star Wars Artists Advanced Diploma students have the opportunity to attend a two week study in Sydney with 'Image Creative Partnership", oscar nominated artists for Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. Positions are limited, see the Academy for more information and costs.

Material Costs

Participants are required to purchase kits and materials on the first day of class. Students to supply their own camera, stationery, colour wheel, 2 hand towels and make up cape. *Includes lab materials used to make head moulds and prosthetic pieces. |
