Certificate II in Retail Cosmetics SHB20116


Participants will gain the practical skills and knowledge required to work as Retail Cosmetics Consultant/Sales Person in either a Department Store, Makeup Boutique, Pharmacy or Salon.

Participants will be required to complete an Industry Practice Log Book which will take approx. 30 hours that maybe outside of contact hours. 

This is a compulsory requirement of the qualification. This provides a hands on experience to best develop the communication and practical skills required to work in Retail Cosmetics.

Course Intake

Full Time
over a period of 12 weeks.

Part time is over a period of 22 weeks.

Month Nights Times Commences
January 2019 Tuesday & Wednesday  6.00pm - 8.30pm 29/01/2019


You will receive a confirmation of enrolment that secures your place in an intake or when a deposit is required payment of the deposit will secure a place. Positions will not be held without either requirement.

*Course completion dates may vary due to holiday breaks. Please note: there is a 4 week holiday break over Christmas and New Years period.


Mode of Delivery

All our courses are work place simulated environments. With face to face class room delivery, students are able to see trainer demonstrations, receive freeback and discuss assignments and the latest trends in the industry.

Applicants must have successfully completed year 10, be at least 16 years of age and basic computer competency

Participants are required to purchase kits and materials prior to the first day of class.

Students to supply their own camera, stationery,  two hand towels and a lap top.

Incidental expenses are payable 30 days before course commences unless negotiated otherwise.
