Procedures on How to Apply
- 1. View the information about the Certificate II in Makeup Services and the Statement of Attainment (Short Course).
- 2. Make an appointment to discuss training options with School Vet Coordinator. Ensure the Vet Coordinator downloads and reads the Memorandum of Understanding and views the yearly calendar.
- 3. To apply for the Certificate II in Makeup Services contact Media Makeup to make an appointment for an interview. Arrange for a parent to also attend the interview. An interview is not required for the Statement of Attainment (Short Course).
- 4. Download and print out the Student Handbook. Read the Student Handbook prior to the interview.
- 5. Bring to the interview a copy of the Student Handbook, resume, a school report and a completed SACE Student Application Form.
- 6. At the interview the content and activities of the course will be explained, policies and procedures of the academy will be discussed, any questions answered and the prospective participant's ability will be assessed.
- 7. If accepted into the course, the participant will be enrolled and pay the course material costs (non refundable deposit) to confirm a placement in the course. Media Makeup uses a standard enrolment form, which requires the signature of both the participant and parent. The paricipant's school will be invoiced for the course fees (unless negotiated otherwise).
- 8. On enrolment the participant will receive a copy of the online enrolment and a receipt of payment.
- 9. The participant is required to give a copy of the enrolment form to the Vet Coordinator.
- 10. The Vet Coordinator is required to download, print out and sign the MOU (if more than one participant from the school, then only one MOU is required).
