Academy Facilities

Media Makeup Academy has state of the Art facilities providing completely fitted out spacious classrooms, one of which is a modern boardroom, movie theatre and photographic studio.

Another classroom recently has been renovated to accommodate a prosthetics studio and sculpting area in light filled space with ventilation and technology to match. Media Makeup has a retail Makeup Shop which is accessible to both students and clients. Students benefit from receiving discount on Makeup products and other equipment, not only while they complete their training but even as a qualified makeup artist. The in house Makeup Shop and studio has a contemporary, fashionable edge as found in many of the Makeup studios throughout Europe. Tammy knew customers would appreciate the same style and elegance so she created a fresh look for MMA&A with bigger and better training rooms, makeup studios and other features.

Agency

Media Makeup not only provide industry based training but also support the students when it comes to employment opportunities.

The agency provides employment in the wedding industry to those students who have completed Accredited training courses. These services are booked through the agency and provide a valuable start to students who wish to freelance their makeup and hairstyling skills in the wedding industry.

The in-house hair dressing salon and makeup studio facilities can be booked by artists for agency wedding services.

Wireless Internet

Students are encouraged to bring their laptops into training as we have installed highspeed wireless internet. Now you can research online as you work by accessing Media Makeup broadband.

New Mobile Theatre System

Watch everything projected on the big screen! Every DVD, every presentation (photographic, PowerPoint etc) will be larger than life. And all our rooms are now equipped with blinds to make viewing perfect in any situation.

Boardroom

The boardroom, which can cater for groups of up to 20, can be arranged into a variety of configurations and is equipped with a range of presentation tools (television, video, DVD, whiteboard and flip charts). Media Makeup Academy and Agency supply stationary for events, access to photocopiers and are able to arrange the hire of Powerpoint facilities if required..

Studios

The beautifully ambient studios are fitted with tungsten and daylight lighting for the utmost results for makeup professionals. The two studios can accommodate 8 and have been set up so that all aspects of makeup from retail to special effects can be achieved in comfort and style. A clean, modern kitchen and bathroom are also made available to hirers. .

RATES:
  • 1/2 Day - $165 (GST inclusive)
  • Full Day - $275 (GST inclusive)
  • Lunch and Morning / Afternoon Tea – from $15 p.p.
    (includes tea, coffee, juice, biscuits, sandwiches / baguettes, fruit platter)
  • Use of Data Projector and Screen for Powerpoint presentations - $330 (GST inclusive)
