Full time participant hours are from 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Thursday.
Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm is for additional support. This is for students who need extra tuition, catch up lessons or just want to use the facilities for study. There is access to trainers for assistance. This is not considered as one on one private tuition for any missed classes.
Media Makeup has 'State of the Art' facilities with all the latest technology. The premises encompass audio visual equipped classrooms, a photographic studio, catwalk, hair & makeup studio, prosthetic lab, student resource room and a makeup store. All classrooms are set up for mobile theatre systems and students have free access to wireless internet.
Media Makeup has it’s own retail Makeup Store which is accessible to both students and clients.
The Media Makeup Store stocks MAKE UP FOR EVER, Elementwo, EVO, Embryolisse, TSZ and Temptu. Students benefit from receiving 25%* discount on makeup products and other equipment, not only while they complete their training but even as a qualified makeup artist.
The Media Makeup Store and studio has a contemporary interior design, inspired by various Makeup studios throughout Europe. The web store also enables past and present students to order online with their artist discount.

The International Student Liaison team will assist International students with things such as Visas, Overseas
Student Health Insurance, applications, and other personal needs. If you need any assistance at all, please visit

During your orientation with Media Makeup you will be introduced to a Buddy (usually an Australian Enrolled Makeup
Student or past Graduate) who will be your buddy/mentor during your studies at Media Makeup. Your buddy can help
you with study skills, getting to know your way around Adelaide, meeting new friends and many other aspects to your
academic and personal experience here in Australia.
Media Makeup recognises that a variety of problems have the potential to affect participant’s training performance and impact
on functional relationships within the training environment. Access to internal and external confidential counselling
services provides assistance to resolve or alleviate problems.
Further information about the external counselling service provider can be obtained from our Moodle site (online curriculum) or SA Health. The website provides an extensive list of welfare service groups catering to many international cultures.
Media Makeup has a reference library located at the Academy, which is available to all students. The library carries
reference books, magazines and career advisory leaflets and is available from 8.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday
and 8.30am to 4pm Fridays.
Students have access to a free wireless internet service.
Media Makeup Agency provide industry recognised training whilst supporting the students when it comes to employment opportunities. The agency provides employment in the cosmetic retail industry for promotional events and in the wedding industry to those students who have complete accredited training course.
These services are booked through the agency and provide a valuable start to students who wish to freelance their makeup and hair styling skills in the wedding and cosmetic retail industry.
The in-house Makeup Studio facilities and Hairdressing Salon can be booked by artists for agency wedding services.
