BOOK NOW FOR A CELEBRATION OF MAKEUP AND FASHION

Tickets are now on sale for Media Makeup's inaugural event, A Celebration of Makeup Fashion.

Set in the modern grandeur of Hotel Richmond's First bar, guests will be treated to drinks and food platters, be pampered at the Lip Bar, see body painting demonstrations and be entertained with music and fashion parades.

Showcasing the makeup and hairstyling skills of all Media Makeup students graduating in 2005, this charity event promises to be one of pure, colourful entertainment, with funds going to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Solo artist, Jade McSeveney (previously from the Flaming Sambucas) will grace the stage, while the catwalk features models from Finesse and Tanya Powell.

On arrival, guests receive a pink drink and gift bag. Later in the evening prizes including two return tickets to the Gold Coast and a photo shoot at The Look Studios, will be drawn from a special raffle.

Suitable if you are in the industry, are looking to enter, or are just curious, A Celebration of Makeup Fashion is the perfect place to find talented artists and for seeing what's happening in the industry.

A DVD of the event captured on camera will be available for sale on the night.

The theme of the event is 'Pink' and will be held at 6:30pm, December 12th, 2005. Tickets are limited. On sale now through MMA&A for $60.

DRAG AND BOCKS

Media Makeup was graced with special guest trainer, Bocks, last month. Students learnt the art of drag makeup and watched on as this professional drag queen gave a personal demonstration. The class ended on a high note as Bocks donned a full outfit and wig and performed live for the students.

WELCOME DENISE HOJDYSSEK...

Media Makeup would like to welcome our new in-house photographer, Denise Hojdyssek. Not only is Denise an accomplished photographer, but a talented makeup artist and merchandiser as well. Denise is also currently working on a photo shoot for SA Tourism.

FEATURE FILM WORK

December Boys, starring Daniel Radcliff from Harry Potter, is now in production in SA.

Congratulations to Jen Rossiter and Michelle Morrisson, both assisting with hair and makeup on set.

WEDDING AGENCY TAKING OFF

With a great team of makeup artists and hairstylists, Media Makeup's wedding services are fairly well booked out this season, with additional bookings made through until October next year.

We've had fantastic feedback from happy clients who either came to our professionally set-up salon or booked our mobile service to their homes.

These services can be booked at any time, subject to availability. Media Makeup can also provide airbrush tanning or makeup and temporary or semi-permanent lash extensions.
