New York New York New York

The Makeup Show is a must visit and this year Tammy, Bec, Denise from Media Makeup and Fiona Rees Jones (Freelance Film Artist) spent two days at the show meeting New York Artists and participating in workshops with Makeup Artists who have been working on the latest magazine and Fashion shoots. We ran straight into our very own Adelaide born Makeup Artist Belinda Zollo who has been based in New York for a year now and working with a top agency making her mark in the industry.

The Makeup Show had many booths from different Makeup Schools, Makeup Suppliers and our two favourite Makeup Brands Temptu & Makeup Forever.

We were so pleased to see that artists in New York are raving about Temptu's range of silicone based airbrushing fluids and Makeup Forever's high definition foundations. Media Makeup has the entire Temptu silicone range and soon to gain the high definition Makeup Forever foundations.

In total our six days in New York were evenly distributed between the Makeup show, visiting Temptu's head office, buying as much MAC pro product as possible, sight seeing, shopping at Macy's department store and at Sephora just topped it off nicely.

Keep an eye on our website as we will be organising trips to New York and Los Angeles's trade shows for all Makeup Artist enthusiasts – it's a must.

Singapore Makeup Shoot

Bec and Tammy called through Singapore to assist with airbrush training for Inuovi beauty advisers and also completed a photo shoot on two gorgeous Russian models for the Inuovi colour launches in Australia. Some amazing eye designs were created and the eye lashes upon eye lashes that we used were out of this world. Look for the Inuovi cosmetic range expanding in Australia.
