Media Makeup Trip to New York
A trip to New York for all budding makeup artists and makeup students is happening in May 2010 to attend the Makeup Show in New York as well as visiting all the sights in New York.

New Course for Hairdressers
Due to industry demand in Makeup Skills within the Hairdressing Industry for in house photo shoots and competitions, Media Makeup are now offering a half day of training per week for 38 weeks to gain a qualification in Certificate II in Makeup Services.
This exciting new course intake starts on February the 9th (Tuesday) from 1pm to 5pm.
Hairdressers will be able to gain practical skills required to work as a professional makeup artist for Weddings, School Formals and provide services for in house studio photo shoots to help promote salon business and enter into Hairdressing Competitions. The course includes a professionally styled photo shoot for your portfolio.

Bonjour Paris
Tammy & Bec are heading off to Paris to train with Dany Sanz, founder of Makeup Forever.
They will take part with other Makeup Forever stockists from around the world in a classroom environment.
There will be four days of intensive training covering chemistry, theatre, fashion trash makeup, airbrush demos, ageing, special effects and moulding. Day Five involves assessment of techniques learned during the training which will be assessed by Dany Sanz.
We hope the cold doesn't deter their artistic creativity! Practice your French girls.
New Website Being Developed
Keep an eye on our website as it is going through some changes with more student photos and exciting things happening for 2010.
Media Makeup Academy has doubled it's size and the new look is reflective of a modern contemporary school with soft metallic bronze tones & a splash of red.
A new student resource room has enabled our participants to spend more time in a spacious environment, with full kitchen facilities, makeup work stations, audio visual equipment, computer access and lockers.
