OOH,YOU ARE NAUGHTY!
Naughty girls finish first, flirt unabashedly and do their
best to flaunt what they've got. Teasingly pouty, cheeky and
always provocative, think Kylie, Milla Jovovich, Cameron Diaz
and Marilyn Monroe. Follow these guidelines to bring out the
'coquette' in you.
Hair: tousled curls, loose and wavy, teasingly side parted so some loose tendrils fall 'come hither' over one sultry eye. Big hair also works, so bring out those heated rollers to give some lift and body. Soft curls can be left out and flowing or swept back into a high pony tail. For a more playful look, try two pony tails or cute plaits.
Skin: use a dewy foundation to even out skin tone, then apply shimmer powder or gold dust along the cheek bones, shoulder blades and décolletage. Brows: should be perfectly arched but natural. Use touch of hair spray applied to a brow brush to shape them.
Eyes: play up the eyes with some shimmer and colour. Sweep a shimmering eye shadow all over the lid, best colours are violet, aqua and apricot. Eyeliner should be black and lined close to lashes and swept up at the outer corners. Apply two coats of lengthening mascara after curling lashes with your eyelash curler.
Cheeks: flushed and cheeky in pink or apricot. A cream blushes work well applied to apples of the cheeks.
Lips: luscious and glossy in stains of pink or caramel. Apply any favourite lip colour or stain and coat with the juiciest gloss you can find.
I'M NOT BAD, I'M JUST DRAWN THAT WAY!
Nasty girls look like they're gonna start something - and it's
usually trouble. The ultimate rock princesses, grunge sirens
and high maintenance 'baddy babes' all have an air of NASTY
about them. Courtney Love, Shirley Manson, Angelina Jolie
and Brigitte Bardot are all glowing examples past and present.
These dames don't give a damn, are delightfully dishevelled
with a 'devil may care' attitude. I know you're really nice, but
you may wake up feeling nasty one day. Heres how to match
that mood.
Hair: Hair can be any style, shape or form as long as it's messed up. Think 'undone' for this look, so even if you have a nice stylish cut, simply mousse it or tease it so it looks like you didn't try too hard. Long, raspy fringes really add to the rumpled,' just outta bed' look.
Skin: skin should be pale and interesting with a flawless base to even out any imperfections. Finish with a dusting of translucent powder to keep the face matt.
Brows: can be tweezed or shaped into a slim, high arch.
Eyes: eyes are the main focus, with black eyeliner along upper lashes, and loads of kohl rimming the inner eyes as well as smudged around the entire eye. Eye shadow can be used to smudge and set the kohl into place. Best colours are gunmetal greys, dark blues and steely greens, blended with black. Take the eye shadow up to just beyond the crease of your eyelid. Apply lots of mascara or use fake lashes for a more dramatic effect. And don't forget the obligatory dark, catty sunshades.
Cheeks: keep blush and bronzer to a minimum.
Lips: line first with a dark berry lip pencil then apply favourite shade of red for a truly devilish pout. Bare and glossy can work well for a more understated look.
MISS GOODY TWO SHOES
Sugar and spice and all things nice. Class without clash and a hefty dose
of good taste, these babes are the personification of perfection and poise.
Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie
Portman and Audrey Hepburn for style rather than show. This can
be a make up for occasions when you need to make an
understated, yet perfectly polished impression.
Hair: a good cut is imperative. Hair should be healthy and neatly coiffed, either in a pony tail or sleekly styled with no fly aways.
Skin: conceal blemishes and a light cover of foundation so that the natural skin shows through. Tinted moisturisers are also suitable to give a healthy glow to the skin. Think clean and natural.
Brows: leave brows natural but neatly shaped with a brow gel. Make sure there is not a hair out of place.
Eyes: perfectly blended earthy or apricot shadow applied with a brush and blended into the sockets to open eyes. Ivory shimmer along the brow bone and on the inner corners of upper and lower lids gives a sparkle to the eyes. Smudge brown kohl along the upper lashes only, and apply black curling mascara.
Cheeks: a subtle dusting of bronzing powder or shimmering peach blush along the cheekbones gives a polished appearance.
Lips: shape the lips carefully with a neutral pink/ brown liner and fill in the entire lip. Coat with a moisturising lip balm or a dab of gloss, but not too glossy.
